Once again Expo Riva Schuh confirms its role as benchmark for the footwear industry worldwide owing to its ability to tackle strategic issues for the future of the sector. The opening ceremony of the next edition, which is scheduled for Saturday June 15th at 11 am is focused on “Sustainability of the fashion system", a talk show meant to dive into the fashion system’s sustainability from a wider point of view related to production’s sustainability as a whole. A commitment for the planet and the environment, that can become a competitive leverage in the international scenario for companies and for the entire production chain.
Expo Riva Schuh and Gardabags open from 15th to 18th June 2019 to an increasingly informed and demanding professional public looking for an international business hub with an improved integrated offer of footwear and leather goods for the volume sector. In fact, the redesigned Gardabags is set in a new location at Pavilion D inside the Exhibition Center, which also hosts Expo Riva Schuh.
The combination of the two events ensures a comprehensive exhibition experience for buyers, with a truly 360-degree view across the available range of accessories - says Giovanni Laezza, general manager of Riva del Garda Fierecongressi. The icing on the cake of a marketplace whose products offer is remarkably comprehensive is the merging of pavilion D, which will host Gardabags, with the Fairgrounds. This is a plus that has already received positive feedbacks during the event registration stage, which is attracting a significant number of Italian manufacturers, a sound growth compared to previous editions, along with Asian and European manufacturers".
In addition to hosting the 70 exhibitors of Gardabags, Pavilion D is going to be the throbbing heart of the next edition and will host the new HangarD, a multi-functional space for events, interviews and B2B dedicated meetings.
"We have set out to especially enhance the visual side of the new space, which is the result of an important real estate transaction and an interesting redevelopment project of an old industrial complex - says Carla Costa, head of Riva del Garda Fierecongressi Trade Fair Area. Hanging lighting, shapes, spaces and materials have been harmonized in a concept that enhances fashion trends and fosters the pooling of supply and demand".
The network of hotels in the city completes the widespread fair of Expo Riva Schuh and Gardabags, offering an additional resource for companies interested in choosing the proper context for their targeted one-to-one meetings.
The appointment with Expo Riva Schuh and Gardabags, the latter now hosted by the new pavilion D is at the Riva del Garda Exhibition Center from 15th to 18th June 2019.
