EXPO RIVA SCHUH AND GARDABAGS. The H2H approach in exploring new markets

Yesterday morning, the Belmond Grand Hotel in St. Petersburg hosted the eighth event of "Around The World" - the business-oriented, itinerant format that brings Expo Riva Schuh and Gardabags around the world and brings the world to Expo Riva Schuh and Gardabags.

Organised in collaboration with MAECI (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) and ITA-Italian Trade Agency, the event demonstrates all the commitment and professionalism with which the fair is facing the challenges imposed by globalisation and the fashion market. "Two lines of action were adopted by the company to react to the change: a strong move towards new technologies and the promotion of educational events designed to provide technical know-how, but also more specific knowledge about the fair" - explained Carla Costa, General Manager of Expo Riva Schuh and Gardabags. "If, on the one hand, the web and social networks guarantee a new and fresher approach to the different targets, on the other hand the fact of meeting in person the decision-makers of the companies that could consider participating as exhibitors and visitors in the event remains fundamental for us: it is the key to a solid and prestigious brand reputation".

In the era of H2H (Human to Human), the marketplace of Expo Riva Schuh and Gardabags is therefore in line with the times; this is clearly evidenced by the involvement of more than fifty professionals including producers, importers,  distributors  and journalists who, during the event in St. Petersburg, had the opportunity to attend the talks given by the General Manager of the event, Carla Costa, the Buyers' Manager, Elena Burdese and the Design Courses Leader and Marketing and  Merchandising  Consultant, Maria Cristina Rossi.

After in-depth examination of the supply and demand of Expo Riva Schuh and Gardabags, the market trends, the fashion trends and the visual merchandising, the event marked the end of the 2019 "Around The World" tour and turned the spotlight on the rich programme of informative eventsthat, from 11th to 14th January 2020, will characterise the winter edition of the fair in Riva del Garda.
