Expo Riva Schuh, Gardabags and the entire Riva del Garda exhibition network are opening their doors to welcome the most important international players in the footwear sector and present the accessory trends for autumn/winter 2019/2020.

The 91 edition of Expo Riva Schuh welcomes 1,469 exhibitors from 39 countries to the Exhibition Centre, with an exhibition area of 32,322 square metres. At each edition, the international essence of the event catalyzes in Riva del Garda about 12,000 visitors, representing 102 countries. In this sense, the winning partnerships are those with ICE (Italian Trade Agency) and MISE (Ministry of Economic Development), thanks to which 40 Delegates from France, Poland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Romania, Russia, Ukraine, Hungary and Croatia are expected to attend the fair.

Gardabags, the exhibition event dedicated to bags and accessories, further enriches the offer for buyers, responding to the growing demand from the retail sector for total look solutions with a qualified selection of bags, belts and accessories, presented by 73 exhibitors from 9 countries. For this second edition, buyers can count on the extended opening of Gardabags until 8 p.m. and on a wide-ranging network of services and links between the two events, in order to optimise their visit and create new opportunities for contact and business.

Expo Riva Schuh represents not only the meeting point between supply and demand, but also a real meeting platform for professionals, as well as an important occasion to understand the evolutions, trends and prospects of the world footwear market. To better perform this role, on the occasion of the opening on Saturday 12th January at 11 a.m., Expo Riva Schuh has organised a special event focusing on the Digital Revolution that is profoundly changing the footwear and leather goods sector at all levels, from the creative phase to the distribution, from retail to the role of the influencers.

The main focus of this inaugural event will be on the evolution of e-commerce and the role of influencers in the fashion system, with the participation of blogger Sabrina Musco.

Cinzia Malvini, lifestyle and fashion journalist at La7 and Book Moda, will moderate the meeting.

GARDABAGS OPENING Saturday 12 January at 6pm - PalaVela 

What’s the dream bag? How to choose the bag for the perfect look? What are the latest trends in the accessories sector? Style coach and television icon Carla Gozzi, and Cinzia Malvini, lifestyle and fashion journalist at La7 and Book Moda, will talk about the future trends and the most interesting developments of the last few seasons in matter of bags from their unique and privileged point of view on the fashion system on the occasion of the Gardabags opening.

Carla Gozzi wil also attend Gardabags on Sunday 13th January from 10am to 12pm, for the event "SHARE YOUR BAG", for which the fair is exceptionally open to the public.

After Carla Gozzi's style suggestions, the fashion addicted will put her tips into practice by browsing Gardabags' stands to find the ideal bag for their look, and will be able to take a picture or a selfie, posting it with the hashtag #shareyourbag, and tagging it to the Instagram @exporivaschuh profile. Carla Gozzi will choose the shot that can best represents the right match between outfits and accessories, and will thus nominate Gardabags "ambassador of style".

"Share your bag" is a unique opportunity to discover the absolute preview of the collections of bags and accessories for next autumn/winter 2019/2020.
