AROUND THE WORLD Stop-over in the italian region Abruzzo to talk about counterfeiting and sales strategies
"Safeguarding products and distribution models" is the title of the conference organised on the 4th of April in Martinsicuro by the ATEA Consortium (Eccellenze Artigiane - Handcraft Excellence), in collaboration with the Teramo Chamber of Commerce, Expo Riva Schuh and Gardabags. An important appointment, where ATEA President Francesco Palandrani has chosen to deal with the current issue of the competitiveness of companies in the fashion system through a panel of high-level speakers.
Among the protagonists of the event, prominent personalities from the national and international fashion scene such as Elena Salvaneschi, CEO of The One Milano, Rita Annecchini, Director of Fashion Academy for Pianeta Moda, Daniel Agis, Expert in Marketing and Distribution (Omnichannel Strategist Barcelona) and Carla Costa, General Manager of Exporivaschuh and Gardabags.
"The promotional and training purposes of this meeting in Teramo immediately proved to be in line with the objectives of the Exporivaschuh and Gardabags Around The World project. - commented Carla Costa - In fact, the event was a great opportunity to talk about the growth of manufacturing exports - especially leather goods - and to discuss the shortage of skilled labour, a challenge that cannot be ignored today because it is firmly linked to the stability of the exhibition market.
In order to guarantee the generational change of a sector that every year generates a turnover of about 180 million euros, the conference was also an opportunity to announce the imminent opening in Alba Adriatica of a training school forleather workers: a significant step to maintain the prestige of Made in Italy goods, and to ensure the survival of all distribution channels in the sector, including trade fairs.
