10 START-UPS WILL TAKE CENTRE STAGE AT THE INNOVATION VILLAGE RETAIL

Collections, new products, big brands but above all emerging start-ups: innovation runs fast at the summer edition of Expo Riva Schuh & Gardabags.


The Innovation Village Retail is back again for the next edition in June (15-18.06.2024): an exhibition village open to startups, companies, institutions and professionals, designed to share the culture of innovation and create networking and business  opportunities between emerging companies and established players. Companies taking part in the Village will also take part in the Startup Competition where they will have the opportunity to tell their stories through pitching sessions  and the chance to win free participation in the next edition of the event.

The numerous applications received were examined by a selection committee that identified the 10 start-ups, let's discover them together!


FIBBL AB: A LARGE 3D SHOE DATABASE

This is a start-up that is revolutionising e-commerce and marketing with its innovative process of creating and distributing 3D/AR experiences. It allows brands that join the platform to implement their digital catalogues by offering cost-effective, end-to-end solutions for 3D visual and Augmented Reality marketing. In practice, they transform the 2D visual catalogue into an interactive and immersive 3D experience where customers can view products from all angles, explore them and try them on as if live.


GEL PROXIMITY: LAST MILE LOGISTICS

It is the first platform entirely dedicated to Proximity Logistics. It is a technological connector offering hundreds of thousands of Pick-up Points and Lockers managed by the main national and international players operating in last-mile logistics. The company's goal is sustainability and growth in the eCommerce channel, demonstrating particular attention to the environment, urban logistics and the reduction of emissions by favouring the parcel delivery and collection system.


RADD: PERSONALISING SHOPPING WITH AI

An innovative generative Artificial Intelligence technology, a unique data-driven review solution that is redefining the review landscape in e-commerce. On the one hand, it personalises the shopping experience by offering each customer a unique set of ‘stories’ based on their purchase history. On the other, it provides brands with real-time reactive A/B analysis based on customer behaviour, enabling better understanding and adaptation of strategies.


BUYBUDDY: HOW CUSTOMERS INTERACT WITH PRODUCTS IN REAL TIME

Start-up that manages retail by seamlessly integrating smart tag technology and QR code systems to bridge the gap between online and offline shopping experiences. Buybuddy's integrated solutions transform physical shops into data-driven environments, enabling precise tracking of customer-product interactions and inventory management.


BLASTER FOUNDRY: BRAND AWARENESS THROUGH VIDEO GAMES

Communicating the brand in a dynamic, fun and simple way: the start-up is a game studio created to generate value between brand and target audience through the development of video games. In a context where more and more people gather online for research, entertainment and purchasing purposes, Blaster Foundry adopts gamification to establish an engaging and effective digital dialogue between brand and target audience.


JUSTINSHOP: CREATING A GREAT DIGITAL AND TERRITORIAL SHOPPING MALL

JustinShop aims to give digital visibility to local clothing shops, responding to the challenge posed by large digital marketplaces and promoting a sustainable and territorially rooted consumer model. JustinShop's approach puts the physical shop at the centre, offering a digital experience that prepares for the in-store experience. The aim is to transform Italy into a large ‘territorial digital shopping centre’, becoming a point of reference for the territory.


YOUADDICT: MAKING THE MOST OF YOUR WARDROBE WHILE AVOIDING WASTE

YouAddict is a startup that has developed a virtual personal styling solution based on artificial intelligence, capable of redefining the way fashion brands interact with their customers, making sales strategies not only more effective but also more  sustainable.
A solution to help users make better use of the clothes they already own and make more conscious purchases in line with their actual needs, thus reducing waste.


DCYCLE: UNDERSTANDING HOW TO REDUCE PRODUCT IMPACT

Dcycle uses automated processes to gather data from a variety of business sources, creating a detailed picture of the impact of its products and enabling it to be shared and mitigated through artificial intelligence-powered recommendations.


TYMELY

Tymely automates 80% of retailers’ Customer Service processes using AI Agent. We model the existing best agent’s behavior and create its ideal digital twin, which is indistinguishable from human agents. This significantly reduces support costs while boosting customer satisfaction and sales.


VANONGO: MANAGING DELIVERIES EFFICIENTLY

A pioneering start-up in Delivery Management As Service software, seamlessly integrating advanced technologies such as robotic process automation, AI and Quantum Computing. The mission is to optimise last-mile and field delivery processes, putting customer satisfaction at the centre. What differentiates VanOnGo is its commitment to continuous innovation. The dynamic vehicle routing software adapts to changes in real time, ensuring optimal routing and resource allocation even in changing circumstances. Whether handling new orders, adapting to changing road conditions or optimising employees' schedules, VanOnGo offers agility and reliability in every delivery.


The start-up selection committee and the jury for the final award will be composed of fashion industry experts and professionals from internationally renowned manufacturers or retailers from large chains in the shoe and leather goods industry. The aim of the award is to help all new entrepreneurial realities that contribute to innovation in the sector to quickly get in touch with industrial partners able to accompany them on the market.
